Clog paths

Klompenpaden are walking routes in Utrecht and Gelderland that run on unpaved roads as much as possible; over church paths, towpaths, tithe roads or peat quays that have often been present in the landscape for centuries and are in danger of disappearing. names in 2002Landscape Heritage UtrechtandGelderland Landscape Management Foundationthe initiative to connect these old and new footpaths. Nearly 150  marked Klompenpaden have now been marked out with a total distance of almost 2000 kilometers. A Valhalla for the adventurous hiker.
